This Privacy Policy explains how NODERAVEN LLC (“NODERAVEN,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the Casebound Converter software (“Casebound”), the website at casebound.xyz (the “Site”), and related services. Casebound Converter is a product of NODERAVEN LLC.
The short version: Casebound Converter runs entirely on your computer. Your email files, their contents, attachments, and the PDFs you create never leave your device — we never receive or store them. We collect only the limited information needed to sell and license the Software. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

1. Information we collect
License & activation data. When the Software is activated or periodically validates your license, it sends us your license key, a machine identifier (a 16-character device fingerprint used to enforce per-machine licensing), the application version, and your IP address. We store your activations and their timestamps to enforce seat limits and keep your license working.
Purchase & account data (via Stripe). Purchases are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing details, and payment-card information. We receive from Stripe a customer identifier, subscription identifier, your email address, and subscription status so we can issue and manage your license. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
Support communications. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
Server logs & security data. Our web and license servers keep standard logs, including IP address, browser/user-agent, request times, and the country associated with your IP (used for access control and abuse prevention).
2. What the app does not collect
The desktop Software processes your email and produces PDFs entirely on your own machine. It does not transmit your mailboxes, messages, attachments, or output files to us or to any third party. Its only outbound network communication is the license activation and validation described above.
3. How we use information

- To process payments, renewals, and cancellations (via Stripe);
- To deliver license keys, download links, and customer support;
- To secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain reliability;
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4. Cookies & tracking
The Site and license service do not set tracking or advertising cookies and do not use third-party analytics or ad networks. We do not track you across other websites.
5. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with:
- Stripe, our payment processor, to handle purchases and subscriptions;
- Infrastructure and hosting providers that operate our servers on our behalf;
- Authorities or others where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security; and
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Data retention
We retain license and activation records for as long as your license is active and as needed for legitimate business, legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations and then rotated or deleted.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we hold, and the Software’s local-only design means your most sensitive content stays on your device. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We do not sell personal information (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act), and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. 9. International users
We operate the Service from the United States, and information we collect is processed in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice.
